COMPREHENSION PASSAGES:

The term benchmark, or “bench mark”, originates from the chiseled horizontal marks that surveyors made in stone structures, into which an angle-iron could be placed to form a “bench” for a leveling rod, thus ensuring that a leveling rod could be accurately repositioned in the same place in the future.

Benchmark is primarily your evaluation at the start of this program. Again, we will take the evaluation at the end of the program (and also in between if the need be,) so that you can evaluate if the time you spent was worthwhile or not.

All good fiction no matter how whimsical is rooted in reality, because we can only relate to something that aligns with our understanding of the universe and how it works. There might be magic, but that magic is always governed by rules, and the basic laws of nature, though extended, always remain backward-compatible with our own. People don’t walk through walls or breathe underwater unless they possess special powers, and in such cases, they are the exception rather than the rule.
